Louis Roberge

Louis started his career with Midland Doherty in Montreal in January 1983. He was quickly noticed for his ability to successfully develop and organize his dealings. From 1987 to 1990, Midland Doherty and Dominion RBC in turn invited him to work for them in London and Paris to increase their market share with French and Monaccan financial institutions. When Louis returned to Montréal in 1990, Dominion RBC assigned him to manage the securities institutional desk – shares. With a professional background that distinguished him from his colleagues, he decided in 1993 to reorient is career for the benefit of his clients, mainly entrepreneurs, business leaders and professionals.
Louis has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Collège Jean de Brébeuf, 1970). After completing his Licentiate in Laws at the Université de Montréal, he was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1976.
Outside his professional life, Louis is First Vice-President on the Board of Directors of the Fondation Jules et Paul-Émile Léger. His involvement on the Board goes back to 1995. In addition, between 1999 and 2001, he was the President of the Québec division of the Arthritis Society .
In recognition for his volunteer commitment, the YMCA listed him as a finalist for the 2009 Peace Medal. Also, in February 2010, the newspaper Finance et Investissement awarded him the title of Most committed adviser within his community.
